A quick ferry ride from Helsinki led to a full day exploring Tallinn’s striking duality: a modern city in motion set against a timeless old town filled with ornate architecture, quiet corners, and rich color. The contrast between futuristic development zones and centuries‑old streets made the experience especially rewarding to photograph.
